Acarus: A Genus of Mites

Acarus refers – a mite which is small spider like creature. In other words, Acarus is a genus of mites in the family of Acaridae. Acarus scabiei is very small spider like creature which digs down into skin. Scabies is rough irritating places especially between the fingers caused by the Acarus scabiei. So Acarus is a genus of small mites which is frequent causes of skin diseases. Such as itch or mange.
