Abortion refers to – producing young before the proper time and not completely formed. In other words, abortion means – the willful end of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Contagious abortion refers to – disease of cows caused by the organism Brucella abortus; it causes loss of the young animal in the 6th or 7th month.
